Auction and the Art of Homesteading Fair

Remick Museum - Tamworth

The Remick Museum and Farm will be holding a fundraising Auction of used farm equipment, antique furniture, domestic objects and gently used modern items that do not meet the Museum’s mission. These unique Auction items can be previewed from 8:30-9am, followed by an Auction from 9-11am.

From 11am-3pm stick around for the Art of Homesteading Fair where you can enjoy live old time music, try stenciling, faux graining and other skills homesteaders would have used in their own homes and farms. Learn more about how to restore old pieces in your own collection or watch demonstrations of historic reproduction craft-making. A concession stand will be available with lemon balm lemonade, blueberry buckle, potato salad, hamburgers and hotdogs.

But that's just the race… there's also the TimberFest at Gunstock with live music, sports & fitness expo, Ironman Champions dinner, and seminars for both the novice and seasoned triathlete. Those who like to tri hard and play hard, can kick back at the TimberParty Clambake & Lobsterfest after the race. It's a full weekend for triathletes, by triathletes - an Endorfun Sports tradition.
