April 26 - Discover Wild NH Day - New Hampshire Fish and Game headquarters, Hazen Drive, Concord
Celebrate Earth Day by bringing the family to Discover WILD New Hampshire Day on the grounds of Fish and Game headquarters in Concord. Free admission! This festival is fun for all ages, with a chance to try archery and learn to cast; see retriever dogs in action, plus big fish and trained falcons. Lots of hands-on activities – build a duck box, tie a fly or learn to find your way with a map and compass.  Scavenger hunt and wildlife arts and crafts for the kids. On-going demonstrations and nature walks all day.  Exhibits on display by more than 30 environmental, conservation and outdoor organizations from around New Hampshire.

Apr 26 - CLEAN UP DAY

Squam Lake Natural Science Center - Holderness 
9:00 a.m., Help prepare the trails and grounds for opening day and wake up Kirkwood Gardens! Be prepared to work outdoors with old clothing and work shoes. Extra leaf rakes, metal rakes, and work gloves are always needed too. A complimentary picnic lunch will be provided at noon. Groups welcome.
